Yaoqing Yang obtained his PhD degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Now, he is a postdoctoral researcher in RISE Lab, UC Berkeley. His primary research interest lies in studying theoretically principled approaches to address robustness issues in large-scale distributed machine learning systems, as well as designing learning algorithms on structured data such as point clouds and graphs.
