Vinitra Swamy is an M.S. in EECS student working with Dean of Data Sciences, David Culler. Her thesis work is in Machine Learning and Deep Learning for large scale computing education, specifically focusing on the new undergraduate data science curriculum, scaling Jupyter for educational cloud computing, and Deep Knowledge Tracing for student performance prediction. She was recently honored with the UC Berkeley Award for Excellence in Teaching and Leadership and is currently a recipient of the UC Berkeley Graduate Opportunity Fellowship.
